The Mad Scientist's Daughter by Cassandra Rose Clarke

I'm a huge fan of Clarke's Assassine's Curse Series, so I was eager to read The Mad Scientist's Daughter. The plot was interesting enough, and the cover gorgeous (it perfectly fits to the story, you'll see why!).

Although I really enjoyed reading this book, I also found that Cat's and Finn's relationship was at times a little bit disturbing and even unsettling (especially the physical side of their relationship). I only skimmed through these scenes, because they were...awkward.

The story itself is told in three parts beginning with Kat's childhood, her teenage and college years and finally her adult and marriage years. The book will definetely leave a lasting impression that'll have you thinking about it long after you turn the final page. If you like Sci-Fi AND romance, you have to pick this book up!
